DIVASA - FARMAVIC, S.A. was established in 1970, with a clear objective as a trading company. It was later, in 1977, when we began to develop and manufacture pharmaceutical products for the veterinary field, and in 1978 we added our hardware business, extending to veterinary instruments and equipment.

In 1982, we started to export, and we now cover five continents with our subsidiaries and agents.

In 1991, an experimental farm was set up in order to carry out efficacy, safety and quality trials. The farm houses a full closed cycle, with 250 breeding sows, 450 cattle and stabling and housing for several other animal species.

In 1999, DIVASA-FARMAVIC, S.A. enhanced its domestic and overseas presence in the key pet market with the acquisition of the "Taberner" line, which includes products for pet birds, dogs and cats.

The trend over the last few years has been towards significant growth, well ahead of the sector, mainly thanks to the launch of new products, the consolidation of our sales networks and distribution channels, an increase in exports and our positioning in the premier quality product segment.

We have placed our faith in the future within a perspective of growth and continuous improvement, fully conscious of the challenge the globalisation of the animal health market implies, but also taking into account the nature of the markets in each country.
